Can I use your service?

Anyone calling from inside the UK can use Planet Numbers’ cheap international calls service from any landline or mobile phone. Please remember to ensure that you have the bill payer’s permission before using the service.

How do I get billed for the overseas calls I make?

If you register for a Planet Numbers International Calling Account you will need to make a prepayment before you can use the service.  Calls are billed to you as per our tariff on a per minute basis, which reduces your available balance accordingly.

If you are using our “Instant Access Numbers”, then your usual phone provider will charge you our advertised pence per minute rate, plus their access charge.  This access charge depends on your provider. Click here to see a list of phone operator access charges. When dialling our Access Numbers, you will not receive a bill from Planet Numbers – the cost of calling will be added to your usual phone bill.  We recommend that you check your phone provider’s access charge before using this service.

What is the price of dialling each of the Planet Numbers’ instant access numbers?

Please see a list of our instant access numbers below, together with the cost of calling.  From 1st July the cost of calling 084, 087 and 09 numbers is split in to two parts: an access charge, which goes to your phone company and a service charge which is the part of the call that goes to the service provider, e.g. Planet Numbers.  Last updated 01 Jan 2018, and includes VAT at the current rate of 20%

Do I have to sign up or make a prepayment before I can use your access numbers?

Not if you use our “Instant Access Numbers”. All you need to do is dial the Access Number before your overseas number to start saving. There are no prepayments (unless of course you sign up for a Planet Numbers International Calling Account).

Do you charge a connection fee for each call?

There is a 5p connection fee for all calls made using the prepaid Planet Numbers’ Account Service.   Calls to our “instant access numbers” do not attract a connection fee.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes, the price shown is the price you pay – there are no hidden fees or additional charges whatsoever!

When do I start being billed?

You’ll be charged by your normal calls provider when you connect to any Planet Numbers Access Number.  Account Service customers will only be charged the international leg of the call once the other side answers.
