iPhone 4 catches fire on aeroplane.

If you don’t have one, you will certainly know someone who does – the iPhone is undoubtedly one of the most impressive devices the mobile world has ever seen. Along with it’s aesthetically pleasing design, the iPhone boasts a huge amount of features; including a camera, GPRS, WiFi, an App store with millions of downloadable apps and now, an built-in hand-warmer.

Of course, Apple don’t advertise this feature – simply because they hadn’t intended it. After one iPhone spontaneously combusted into flames on an Australian flight to Sydney, hundreds of iPhone users frantically scoured the App Store, hoping to download the fire creator.

There is no explanation from Apple so far as to why the iPhone 4 caught fire on the Regional Express flight ZL319 to Sydney on Tuesday. However, an Apple spokeswoman in Australia responded saying the tech firm was looking “forward to working with officials”.

Witnesses said that the iPhone started ‘glowing red’ on the aeroplane, before bellowing a ‘significant amount of dense smoke’ as the plane landed. Cabin crews on board carried out appropriate measures and the iPhone was extinguished successfully. Luckily, no-one was harmed in the incident.

When experts suggested that the iPhone was the hottest thing on the market, I don’t think they meant this.
